Last updated 4 months ago

We prioritize seamless and secure asset transfers between external blockchains and our platform. While we plan to integrate with established bridging solutions like in the future, we have developed a custom bridging mechanism to facilitate the transfer of assets such as USDC and MYSO tokens onto the MySocial chain.

Our custom bridge enables users to transfer assets from external blockchains, specifically from Base’s Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) network, to the MySocial network. This is achieved by sending tokens to a uniquely generated wallet address on the Base EVM, which is securely linked to a corresponding wallet on the MySocial chain. Upon receipt of these tokens, the system automatically credits the equivalent amount of native MySocial tokens to the user’s account, ensuring a straightforward and efficient onboarding process.

How It Works

  1. Initiating the Transfer - Users access the MySocial bridging interface and specify the type and amount of tokens they wish to transfer (e.g., USDC or MySo).

  2. Generating a Unique Wallet Address on Base EVM - The system generates a unique wallet address on the Base EVM network specifically for the user’s intended transfer.

  3. Sending Tokens to the Generated Address - Users send the specified amount of tokens from their external wallet to the generated Base EVM wallet address.

  4. Automatic Detection and Transfer to MySocial Chain - Once the tokens are received on the Base EVM address, the system verifies the transaction and automatically transfers the equivalent amount of native MySocial tokens to the user’s corresponding wallet on the MySocial chain.

Treasury Management

To facilitate these transactions, MySocial maintains a dedicated Treasury. This Treasury ensures that there are sufficient native MySocial tokens available to fulfill incoming bridging requests, providing users with a smooth and efficient experience.

Security

Our custom bridging solution is designed with security as a top priority. The unique wallet addresses generated for each transfer minimize the risk of address reuse and potential vulnerabilities. Additionally, the automatic verification and transfer process ensures that tokens are accurately credited to users’ accounts on the MySocial chain.

Future Integration Plans

As MySocial continues to grow and achieve broader adoption, we plan to integrate with established bridging solutions like . This integration will further enhance our platform’s interoperability, allowing for more diverse and flexible asset transfers across multiple blockchain networks.

By implementing this custom bridging solution, MySocial ensures that users can easily and securely transfer assets onto our platform, paving the way for a more connected and versatile blockchain experience.
